This business-case focused session will take you through the main stages of Epicor Job management. You will understand the different types of demand and the resulting job demand link types. You will gain command of key features from setup requirements to subcontract operations, from constrained materials to backflushed ones. As you progress through the completion of a job you'll get insights into best practices with checks and balances available to you to make sure you are right on target with dollars and time spent. You'll look into the basics of quality management by completing an inspection operation and finally receive or ship items.

At the conclusion of this lab, you will be able to:

  • Explain the different sources of demand that leads to job creation
  • List and demonstrate the key methods for job creation
  • Complete jobs operations on target, internal and subcontract alike.
  • Understand the benefits of backflushing operations and materials.
  • Execute an inspection and report scrap, non-conformance.
  • Complete the movement of finished products at job completion.
  • Finalize and Analyze Jobs using Job Closing Maintenance, capture and post costs to the General Ledger.
